BIO

Robynn Armévida is a trans Chicano artist and writer pursuing a Masters in Fine Arts for Writing at the School of the Art Institutte of Chicago.

They currently work on a short story to precede their thesis, the first installment of a science fiction trilogy delving into the militainment fed into young men, the argument of gentility's survival in warfare, transnationalism, and the dichotomy within "tactical intimacy". To put it briefly, the short story is a 2nd-person sci-fi narrative that follows "you" through the end of the fourth world war and the consequences of the American military having recruited (and trained) perfumers to (literally) sniff out and expose shapeshifters infiltrating positions of power.
